A carrier reset is almost always necessary if you’re activating a device or if you’re having trouble receiving voice, text, or a data connection. This reset sends your device’s new information to the network so that you can get service.

Note: If unable to perform reset over WiFi, disable option in settings and connect to mobile data.

Android Phones

  1. Connect to Wi-Fi (if available)
  2. Go to the dial pad or phone app
  3. Enter # # 72786 #
  4. Confirm the reset
  5. Allow the device to restart and go through the activation processNote: Certain legacy devices may require an MSL code. If your device requires one, we recommend submitting a ticket to Support to obtain the code.

These directions are for the iPhone 5, 5c, 5s, 6, and 6 Plus. The iPhone 4S does not have a “Reset Subscriber Settings” option.

  1. Connect to Wi-Fi (if available)
  2. Go to the native phone app (This will not be the FreedomPop app, but the native iPhone dialer, which may be hidden in a folder. You can always swipe down from the home page to activate the spotlight function and search for “phone”).
  3. Once phone app has been located, enter # # 25327 #
  4. Tap Call
  5. When the “Reset Subscriber Settings” message appears, tap OK
  6. Wait 5-10 seconds for the word “Searching” to appear in the top left hand corner
  7. When the phone shows signal dots again, it’s ready to use

If that does not work, find the Settings app > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
