Installing WordPress in a sub-directory

  1. Download WordPress: http://wordpress.org/latest.zip
  2. Using a FTP client, connect to your account. (server: example.com username: example password: ****************)
  3. Make sure you are in the “public_html” directory. Make a directory (test)
  4. Unzip wordpress into (test) directory
  5. Access the wordpress installer at: http://example.com/test/wordpress
