Note: Magnets do not harm modern electronics. Anything that is not a floppy disk is fine. 😉 This can mess with your devices compass, or other sensors. If this happens, reposition your phone. Some people say the sensitive electronics can degrade over time when exposed to a strong magnetic field. I have not verified this.
