Upgrading to CyanogenMod 10 Android 4.1.2 on the Motorola Milestone X2 aka MX2 aka MB867 aka Daytona from Stock 2.3.6 (US Cellular)

1. Boot into stock 2.3.6
2. Enable other sources and USB debugging
3. Connect to Ubuntu, open terminal, and run root script.
   1. extract root.zip
   2. ./rootscript
4. Install recovery
   1. sudo adb install MOTODX2_Bootstrap_signed.apk
5. Disconnect USB
6. Install recovery, wait
7. Reboot into recovery
8. Install from SD card
   1. cm10-01272013-unofficial-mx2.zip
   2. gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip
   3. Data and Cache wipe
   4. MX2_CM9_WIFI.zip
9. Reboot
10. Skip setups
11. enable airplane mode, disable location services
12. Performance tweaks
    1. i/o schedule to deadline
    2. 16bit transperancy
13. Developer options
    1. Turn “Window Animation Scale” to OFF.
    2. Turn “Transition Animation Scale” to OFF.
    3. Turn “Animator Duration Scale” to OFF.
14. Turn off
